Yes, I think it has worked so far. I just thought it would be easier to store it in a common FS :D
I just checked.. I can build Food Storage now!
If you have any food contain a chance to poison. Just be extra careful not to consume them yourself.
Other than that, keep making your Innkeeper a Roasted Meat and/or Roasted Fish, otherwise you could make them yourself to help improve your own crafting skill. Which probably you want to max Crafting Skill and Cooking Skill, Sewing not so much I would say, since it need to make more money to sell stuff and/or for making side quest item for Warm Cloth topic.
You can always reset the still anyway with your wife, and assign to which is more often being use. Be flexible as possible, I almost forget that you aren't rushing. So take your time while learning.
I think I had 37 Fields of 5x5 for myself, hard work and rushing involved. Again, I know what I'm doing, take your time and plan a head on how to want to do it within the next year (in-game time), so starting the current play, what is to be expected for next year. However, that being said.
This is your first time playing, then don't worry too much, just go through it and enjoy it. I'm just sharing my own experience. Up to you how'd you want to play it.
Well, I have a building limit 8/8 now, so I guess a tavern will have to wait. I did try to lay the poisonous mushrooms on the floor in my Hunters lodge, but they disappeared. Will try your advice next time.
Yes, I take my time and make the operation as good as possible. In a way the game itself restrain me from "over-reqruting" too fast and that is good. I need more Dynasty Reputation for the next employee.
Progress is good though :D

Yes I already enjoy it tremendously, partly thank's to your and the community's help :D
The more time spend in here, my way of playing develops itself which is very good.
Now, having spend most of the day here in-game, Real Life calls.. Time to feed my dog and 6 hens, gather 6 eggs for breakfast tomorrow. Same work irl as in MD. The funny thing now, as I am out in the woods with my dog , I can react to stuff laying around, like "Wow! so many sticks and stones!"
So, this game is really taking over my daily thoughts.
My own game play style is rushing, I do enjoy it, you do you, how'd you or other people want to play it. I just want to see everything is at max. Some people does not like grinding, while to me personally, grinding is part of the RPG feel in the game. Hence why I've got the Technology and Skills info in my guide with those numbers.
To help me and people on what give more Tech Points and Skill EXP in terms of to help fast track their hard earn play (I would say job), but this is a game so play is the word ;)
Yes really! It was a bit frustrating the first days when I did not understand the "mechanics" and I actually went back to Civ6 for a day :D But having a good sleep on it, I went back and got your "Guide" and suddenly things were much clearer. In the "good old days" when we bought games in a shop, there was always a heavy manual to read, at least for the high-end games. I know this is an EA game, and your efforts with the Guide is really helpful.
I don't mind grinding either.. it's kind of "meditative" and works fine for me. You have done a tremendous job here and I really appreciate it. Btw, I did "snip" a few screenshots of those Tech-skill diagrams for easier access here. I like to check out some parts in advance, but think that the charm of a good game is to be surprised too. I don't want to know everything in advance and hate "cheating-modes". The game is designed this way and I play it "as-is". I consult your guide when I am stuck or don't understand something. Until then I play by "trial and error".
Yeah, I could relate in the old days we're normally buy or search it online guides and read them first, and skip some part that we think it could be a potential spoiler, and maybe mixing it with playing first, and when stuck, then check with a guide.
Checking multiple guides also help knowing which one has info or matching it to gather all in one, to know what's we're missing when playing a game at certain point. Oh the good old days, when disc is still the main distribution :D
Yes it had it's charm and frustration too. Old style (C64) casette tapes in the tape player, but first a magneto head calibration cassette and a screwdriver, load the newly bought casette, hopefully see the text "Loading....." on the tv via a RGB cable.. Wait 15 minutes..then suddenly, blue screen and "Syntax error" or something ..
Those were the days my friend
