the whole child problem isnt solved yet... they need to move out to other towns or so ...the npcs will just overflow your village you need to expand expand expand expand ..and not only living houses but also more food more firewood more demand here more demand there
this problem needs an fix .....let them move off to nearby towns even offmap and come back randomly for an visit to there parents..but let them move off if you dont have job for them
Not there yet by far, but it would be nice to be able to "send away" grown up children without losing dynasty points.
At any rate, on the long run I think there should be intervillage marriage as well. Together with a regular inflow of strangers hoping for a fresh start that should keep the gene pools well mixed - while currently it would be only your village that would have that advantage.
If you keep a 1 child per family cap you'll have to find one migrant partner per grown up child to keep your population at current levels on the long run. (Which would stettle the expansion question eventually, as long as you are willing to tolerate empty or unused buildings in between) This would account for 50 per cent fresh genes per generation. Played out after several generations, this would result in you having the probably healthiest population of the entire world.
