do children move out?
I'm wondering or the children that grow up need their own house eventually or do they stay in the parent house?

They stay unless you move them to a new house

My son just turned 18 and I moved him to a new house. He also just started his first day in his new job. :D
That warrants a party.

that isn't very practical yet until the left the building restriction i see to make room for new buildings they raised it to 44 but in order to fully grow village they will need to get rid of that cap

they cant get rid of that cap .. the performance will break theres an cap for a reason ... all the items npcs movements tasks...need to be saved and progressed

the whole child problem isnt solved yet... they need to move out to other towns or so ...the npcs will just overflow your village you need to expand expand expand expand ..and not only living houses but also more food more firewood more demand here more demand there

this problem needs an fix .....let them move off to nearby towns even offmap and come back randomly for an visit to there parents..but let them move off if you dont have job for them

I can see why, nice to sent children or people to offmap with resource, wish them best or something like that,

Children will stay in the house of their parents forever if you don't move them out. The advantage is that the parents won't get more children than one or two, depending on your house size. However, if you want to move your village you can't keep the family together. Once you move the parents to a new house, the kids will stay in the old house and not follow their parents. So once they are separated you can't put them back together again.

My son was the first child in my village to turn 18. His mood was going down because he didn't have a job. I kept him in my house and gave him a job. His mood stabilized but didn't come back up. A couple of years later a girl turned 18 and her mood started dropping also until I got her a job and it stabilized. Their moods weren't coming back up, so I got them together in a house, thinking maybe that's what they needed, but it didn't raise their mood either. Then she had a baby and their mood went up.

Not there yet by far, but it would be nice to be able to "send away" grown up children without losing dynasty points.

At any rate, on the long run I think there should be intervillage marriage as well. Together with a regular inflow of strangers hoping for a fresh start that should keep the gene pools well mixed - while currently it would be only your village that would have that advantage.

If you keep a 1 child per family cap you'll have to find one migrant partner per grown up child to keep your population at current levels on the long run. (Which would stettle the expansion question eventually, as long as you are willing to tolerate empty or unused buildings in between) This would account for 50 per cent fresh genes per generation. Played out after several generations, this would result in you having the probably healthiest population of the entire world.

If you have a three people house and move out the grownup child to live with a partner, the parents will get another child as soon as the bed is free. I have seen women with 60 years have another child. And this is truly something that needs to be fixed.
