Horse: can't equip large saddlebag

I don't get a choice to "equip" anywhere. I've seen videos where there's a horse outline on the menu line of "inventory" but I haven't got it. I've unequipped the small saddlebag so there should be a slot free. Any suggestions?

First transfer the saddle and saddle bag to the horse's inventory. For this, come to your horse. Select the saddlebag from your inventory. Hold down the "X" key. Do the same in the saddle. Get out of the inventory. Press the "i" key. Then press the "H" key to switch to the horse's inventory. Select the saddlebag and equip it with the "F" key. Do the same in the saddle.

We even have a video of how to equip the horse items. The wiki is being updated by members from the community. So, things will come there when they have time.

I am sure that such bugs are noted by the developers. I think they are moving forward with a plan. After a while, these will also be removed. The game is developing very fast and new features are always coming. When the game is out of early access, it will be a great game to be played over and over again. Although there are minor flaws for now, we can ignore them.

They do say "you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him drink". I didn't think that was supposed to be taken literally.

I've ridden a lot of horses (in video games) and this horse is as good or better ... even in beta this game is highly playable ... can't wait to see how they improve it although curious about how bandits will affect gameplay. I've noticed that NPC aren't threatened by predators ... having to protect them as they roam would be difficult.
