This game is Annoying me! Food problem
My villagers are hungry! I have the food storage and the resource storage, but they eat the food and they are still hungry. I thought once you put though building down you won't have to worry about the hungry complaint anymore, nope they still complain about being hungry. I just put food in the food storage, Hunter should put food in food storage, bowls are in resource area. I am getting really annoyed because I thought I was done catering to though lazy villagers. Can't even leave the village to go on missions if I am worried about my villagers starving themselves, because less than a couple days after I put food in there they are freaken hungry again! I am done with this game. Food problem shouldn't last this freaken long. Another problem I had is one of the villagers is pregnant, and that is just going to make the food and water go faster. I am always worrying about food and water for me, and now the villagers. I am very annoyed, I had to feed them before the food storage and I still have to feed them after the food storage.

Build a kitchen. Employ a cook. Let him roast the meat or make potage whatever. You will never have to worry about food anymore.

Did you set up a kitchen to cook better food?
Do you have enough hunters?hunter skill?
Did you set up your hunters to actually hunt? (YOu need to tell them what to work on)
Look at your management screen and see the Food demand per day, make sure you are producing enough.

Almost everything can be automated in your village, there's no need to get annoyed, a lot of players simply don't know how to set up their production, because the game doesn't explain everything in a deep tutorial

Are you sure you do it correctly. A villager only consumes 30 foodvalue a day. But doesn't eat raw meat or poisioned food. One potage a day a villager should do it. Don't have any problem with it. For now , I do the cooking my self as it seems the fastest way (and don't need a kitchen). Be aware , villagers don't cook for them self, you need to have eatable food in the foodstorage.

I seen them take raw meat, and rotton food, anyways I found out they will cook the food on there own if you make sure you give them access to bowls or plates and have the required ingredients.

there is a priority list for villagers consumptions (food, water, wood for heat). they will consume available items from the top. if nothing else is available, they will take the drastic measures of eating poisoning foods. they will NOT improve the food in any way. if they get raw meat, they will eat it raw (and thus need more). sadly you can only enable / disable individual items, but cannot change the order of them.

you're really best of if someone makes food edible (cook or dry meat, proper meals) or gather edible raw food (berries, farming products) or cook some meat yourself and leave the old stuff (less %) for your villagers to eat.

The villagers don't cook food on their own. Only the cook makes food.

They take cooked or prepared food (not raw) from the food storage Or the chest in their assigned home.

It would be way too easy if you could just put a pile a raw meat in the food storage for them :)

Also make sure you have enough nutrion per day per person as each food is different.

Infant doesn't consume any food,
a toddler consumes 6 nutrition per day,
a kid consumes 12 nutrition per day,
a teenager consumes 18 nutrition per day,
an adult consumes 30 nutrition per day

And a bear can consume 2 adults per day, so, if you're running out of food, invite some bears.

That used to be true in Early Access. Now villagers can use anything for food, even Rot.
It wouldn't be as easy as you think. Raw meat is only +2 nutrition. My current food demand is 1633/day. I would need over 800 raw meat per day to feed them like that. On the other hand If i cook and improve 800 Raw meat is enough for several seasons with some leftover for Rot.
