pigs questions

i just got my first 2 pigs and had a few questions.
do they need to have a person assigned to the pigsty? or can i just take care of them myself?
also, does it need to be fenced in? currently they are just wandering around but i dont want them to run away or anything like that.

All animals (except of Donkeys and Horses) need a worker for production. You can get wool from sheeps and milk from goats and cows, but the amount is really low compared to your workers.
The fences isn´t mandatory, its only for your decoration and keep the animals where you want them. But it is no problem if they run around.

Kind of helps to keep them in one place and not wonder of to the fields, several players had problems with this because they often end up hiting/killing one of their own animals without realizing it.
