This game has several excelent bases for many kind of expansive worlds/story addicional contents without having to just make something brand new, all u need to do is add it so players "choose" what sort of path to take.
Ok let me clarify I'm not saying I want massive armies and battles in the game, the bandits we have now is perfectly fine. I just want the ability to build some type of fort/keep/etc. If this is happening before the castle itself was around I believe there where still various types of forts they built that could be an option.
Again I'm not looking to then this into a battle simulator just like to see options for building the more militaristic or wealthy buildings that existed at the time.
Just a thought :p
Just a thought :p
Its the same has it is now with more militaristic structures and some fools looking after the roads so they don't seem so empty.
Like i said "IF" it would be good has a DLC that way it would be optional for the players, and not massive warfare would be added maybe some sorted of more coordinated bandits but like its now, if we choose it.
Well a Motte and Bailey would have existed in this time so thats not entirely true. Although I agree stone castles would be very uncommon.
Yeah this is also a good idea. We don't have to occupy everything we build and everything we build doesn't have to be for our village. I think the Herald is a great avenue for the devs to add more structures for is to build without turning the game into a medieval warfare simulator.
As I said I wouldn't go so far as to make the PC king, you are a peasant after all and peasants didn't move up to kingship. Having the player build some kind of fort, a Motte and Bailey seemed like a good idea, and then also be responsible for initial supply such as X dried/salted meat, X water, X flour, X Iron Spears, X Iron Arrows, and X Bows(long or recurve) would make for a fun and enjoyable end game task imo.
I mean imagine if it was
100 Iron Spears
1000 Iron Arrows
50 Recurve/Long bows
50 Dried Meat
50 Salted Meat
5000 Flour
25 Wine(any type)
25 Ale(Mead)
50 Cabbage
50 Carrots
50 Onions
5000 Gold(soldier pay)
Idk kinda making this up as a go but a rather massive list giving you 3-5 in game years to build the fort and assemble everything so you are on a clock to boot. Personally I think it would be a ton of fun.
Right of the left tree, on top of the hill there...
What kind of building is that?
XD
