I thought if you produce wicker basket it would show up in the chest right next to the workbench, but there is no wicker baskets. she should have had a lot by now because she been making them for at least 2 days and no wicker basket.

AI puts them into the town storage, in the far-right category that looks like a bag. In the same way, kitchens will put stuff into food storage and etc.

The chest next to any crafting station, is for npc's to take out of, not put in.

Ok I built the resource storage building, now how do I put the resources in the shed.

You can keep everything in the food storage and the resource storage. But there is a good reason to put stuff in the barn chest or house chests. To get under the weight limit. So put some knives in the hunting and fishing lodges, bags, scythes and hoes in the barn etc. But the villagers will only drop of items in the storage buildings.

There is a chest against the wall in the Resource Storage building. Your baskets should start showing up in that chest.
The same applies to the Food Storage building for food items (meat from hunters, etc), everything goes in the chest.
