I, being bearded myself, would consider that King a good one, without doubt... :D
Fun aside, "the Bearded" I think is rather a neutral King than anything else.
Think about it - I don't see how being bearded or not makes someone a good or a bad person, actually.
Probably not a good king. ;)
how about the abitious?
Jokes aside, I think there also is a "The Bearded" who would be a neutral king.
But Bloody is definitely a bad one, I had him before.
I have a bad one, and did my first herald quest then noticed that his opinion of me went down. I didn't notice if my villagers opinions went down also though, do they?
And so are we just not supposed to do the herald quests while we have a bad king or something.....confused.
You can still do his challenges though; for all kings - good, bad or neutral - will lower their taxes if you do the herald quest. Your villagers will like you less though for sucking up to a bad king, so their mood will go down.
The right indicators on top of your map gives you the kings's opinion of you (still neutral in my case), how your taxes are affected and the % next to the smiley-face tells you how your villagers mood was affected.
But i think that's only for a season, so I guess it's not too horrible. So with a bad king you kinda have to outweigh for yourself what you find more important: lower taxes or happy villagers.
Thanks for that info! :)
Kinda weird though that the king sends me a quest then gets pissy when i do it. My villagers also get pissy cause i sucked up to a bad king, even though the king liked me less for doing it. And even though he liked me less for doing it, he gave me lower taxes.
You see why i was confused lol
I guess i'll just never do his quests. I care very little about lower taxes....make an absolute fortune from selling those knives :D
The king WILL like you less when you accept a quest and fail it.
So i'm not sure what you mean with "did my first herald quest then noticed that his opinion of me went down."
Where did you see that?
