First herald appearance: must be at Spring 10... obviously...

About herald, how long do I have to complete the quest? Sometimes I read 1 season, sometimes it is 1 year... just to be sure.

1 Year. It is optional. You can take or ignore.

The Herald came to me for the first time in the year 7, which probably has to do with the development of your village.
As far as I know, you have a year to complete the quest.
I can't say exactly, because I've always completed the quests 2 seasons at the latest, so far they weren't that difficult.

Well it took me about 10 seconds: wedding quest, 1500 coins... with the taxes and Uniegost's story 3, this spring will cost me a lot...

The herald can appear(rng) after you finished chapter 6 afaik

The Herald is nearby in Gostavia now, year 9. It is the second time he appears in my game but this time I am not sure how to manage 100 wheat for him. How long is he usually around?

Well, I finished chapter 6 around year 3 or 4...

Well, the Herald is gone now as we entered summer season so I guess he is only around for one season at a time?

Ok, thank's. I was not sure if I should accept since I can't produce that wheat he is asking for. But, I guess he will be back some time again. Better to be decline than to get a "failed quest" :D

you can't produce because you don't have enough wheat to sow?

because if it's time, you get 5 seasons. The season you accept the challenge doesn't 'count'. the year time starts at season change, so technically you have 5 seasons to finish the quest.

Yes, I had only 10 wheat grain and I don't think it would have been enough either. Ok, I missed it anyway now, but good to know in the future
