Mood?
Just quickly asking:
1. What effects do Mood have?
2. Which things affect Mood?

I know the quality of housing does affect it but what about work intensity? If you have a woodshed work at 80% instead of 100, will mood rise?

Mood is affected by NPCs having food, firewood and a home, a family, the skill at the job they are doing, events and the type of king you help with herald quests.

unfortunately nothing. Only that they leave you if the mood reach -100. But all between -99 to 100 have no affect at the moment.

gnnrg, again one second to late :steamhappy:

But what about the players mood? I saw mine had the Dropping Mood Arrow and haven't figured what alters the players mood, other than maybe lack of sleep?[/]

House, maybe? Events? It's not like you can leave yourself if it drops too low.

Just to check, since it's been half a year and there's been updates, is this still accurate?

This thread looks old, which is fine, but I'm curious if this is still the case in the (current) released version. Some other threads suggest mood effects productivity. Have there been changes? Thank you.

This was indeed recently (a bit over 2 weeks ago) changed with the heir update.
From the patch notes:

Updated:
* Increased influence of home quality and insulation on inhabitant mood levels.
* Decorations in houses increase the mood of the inhabitants.
* Mood of workers affects the speed of production (from Mood: -100% = Production speed: -20%, to Mood: 100% = Production speed: +20%).
*Mood of workers affects the speed of trading (from Mood: -100% = Trading speed: -20%, to Mood: 100% = Trading speed: +20%).
*Mood of workers affects the speed of buildings repairing (from Mood: -100% = Repairing speed: -20%, to Mood: 100% = Repairing speed: +20%).
