Your resolution is not something many would use. However, other people asked for the possibility to change text size because they are elderly or have problems with their eyes in general. So, there is hope. No promise, but the wish has been passed on.
Fastest way for you would probably be to simply change your weird resolution.
To be honest, ultra-wide resolution is still far from being considered "standard" these days.
Rule of thumb is basically true for all aspect ratios on monitors: if you increase the base resolution far enough (relative to the screen size), you will always reach a point where the display is no longer readable.
So IF you absolutely feel the urge to buy a screen with such a weird resolution, then only buy one that is large enough so that you can still read what is displayed on the screen.
I run the game at a much lower resolution and I still can't read anything unless I lean in really close. Don't blame the user for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ design choice. Adjustable text/UI size should have been implemented a long time ago, especially since it has been requested countless times. In this day and age this feature should be a given.
Either make the Lettersize adjustable or have someone read it out. Im not a fan of reading so much anyway. If i wanna read that much i take a book dont play a game ><
Yes some of us do, in fact many people do which is why you see so many complaints about games who don't take in to account UI design and sizes/scaling .
