Wifes affection dropping fast.
So I noticed my wifes affection is dropping at an alarming rate, theirs no longer any options for flirting or anything once shes your wife so what are you supposed to do to keep your affection up? Or does it just not matter?

Gifts and it does matter, if affection reaches 0, she'll leave you

Just gifts? So its kind of just like a tax for having a wife? Seems a little rough.

What personality does she have? I wonder if that makes a difference.
Mine's hardworking and practical, and a single gift every couple years is enough to keep her affection at 100%.

It amounts to peanuts when you break it down - basically buy it with excess pig crap...

I saved and bought 1 of each gift and gave them to her loading each time the most I could get was +12 affection for 900+

Pretty sure that's the max amount. But her affection should stop dropping - starting the next day, I believe. That lasts for a decent amount of time.

I forgot to "romance" my wife and she left me ... ;(( I had no way to change my talents, etc. So, I decided to attack a pack of wolves with a cudgel ... my heir, age 31, now takes over with a wife he can romance and prosper.

On the subject of romance can you have more then 1 kid? I have one of them houses with more then 1 bed for kids yet my wife doesnt wanna do the nasty again. Do I have to wait?

no the player can only have one child. Your son can have 2 childs, before you die.

Ah thanks, so can the NPCs have more then 1 child? Cause theirs houses with multiple beds.

Whats the max pop cap and building cap while we are on the subject? lol

Only one child for Racimir.

Also, if you'd bothered talking to your wife at least once in a while you should have noticed that her affection gradually goes down.
It needs quite some time to bring it down to an amount that she'll leave you.
If you really managed to get to that point, you maybe should pay a little more attention to all the things in the game - not only your wife. There's so much to see, all you need to do is just open your eyes and look...

Alright alright their tyke we get it you're the best player in the world. I just asked some questions so theirs no need to get snippy.
This is one of the hardest games on the net to find info for cause so many of the guides just havnt bothered to update their info from the development stage, so unless you wanna read that 900 page monster you're clean outa luck so how about you realise not everyone knows this game as well as you do... thanks there.

I love the way this game is trying to make better people out of those not wanting to give gifts to their wives! ;-)

Lol I also love the fact that this game expects you to be a mind reader to what you wife actually wants.
