Best way to make coins with Flax?

I've read several guides but I don't really know if they are updated. In your opinion, what's the best way of making coins with Flax?

Right now I'm selling Flax grain and Bows. Should I stop selling bows and start selling Linen Fabric instead?

Unless the price was adjusted you would still be better off selling the flax grain and bows. I havent played in a few weeks however.

personnally, I would just sell flax stalk and flax seed
you don't waste time crafting linen thread and bow (which is very long if your villager do it, and you have better things top do)
and flax stalk and flax seed are very light weight so easy to carry a lot. you just make 30g less from the longbow but you don't have to transport it (1k25 per unit...)
seeing most of the profit came from the flax seed, it's a no brainer to me.

(but I don't, I sell only iron bolt and noble shoes ^^
iron arrow is the way to go if you want to make money, but you need a mine, and I destroyed mine because iron bolt is more than enough to pay taxes and more and cost near to nothing if you have goose for feather)



let's break it down:
sell price (without the seller skill bonus):
flax : 4g (=1 flax stalk + 1 flax seed)
flax seed : 4
flax stalk : 2g
linen thread : 18g
leather : 2g
log: 1g
longbow : 88g

what it cost if you consider raw material sell price.

logbow = 58g
2 log : 2g
1 leather : 2g
3 linen thread : 54g

(and on a side note:
3 linen thread = 60g
30 flax stalk : 60g
we can see selling flax stalk is better than selling linen)

so you make 30g profit + you have also 30 flax seed to sell witch is 120g

going with fabric, it's 3 more transformations (compare to 1 for the longbow), so waste of time imo.
I stil think it's better to sell flax stalk + flax grain , until you have iron bolt schematic, or the mine and iron arrow schematic. this is the way

i have been spinning the stalks to thread for the skill ups instead of selling the stalks

keep only the seeds you need to replant your field sell the rest and before you know it you will have more money then you knwo what to do with
