Terrain uneven.
Sick and tired of this. Found a decent spot where I would like to build only to find out that you can't place anything at all because the terrain is uneven. Why is there NO terraforming or a flattening system??????

Has there been any solution to this problem.

i want to build in forest but find it impossible ... So is there anything tht can be done to build in forest?
Cut down the trees and remove the stumps with a shovel. Then there no longer is a forest. Uneven terrain cannot be leveled, no.
9 months and i still can't level a patch of dirt? guess ill try again in another 9 months. seriously a major put off having such uneven terrain in a building game and no way realistic way to overcome it besides "You should only build in these few spots because they are flat enough to fit everything you want"

Even in two years you won't. Terraforming is not part of how the engine was set up for this game. There are many places where you can build on the map and a lot of even ground, however.

it is all about getting good spot to build, but in real life it is too

This game is set in the middle ages in Austria I believe. Kingdom Come Deliverance is set in Bohemia in 1403 and a lot of the settlements in that game are on uneven terrain......... Pribyslavitz and Rattay for example.

I't perfectly doable as well as period-accurate.
I agree its set back in the 1400s . And they did not have heavy equipment like we do today. If they do add some thing like a filler then they should add a price like 500 to a 1000 coins for every time you use it
Too bad to choose UE and not use it to full extent then.
I know! they added in a perfect spot to build. Huge waterfall with three streams, a pond and a bridge.. and I can't build anything there because of the slight bumps in the ground. :(
why should the game adapt to you?

Why not try to adapt to the game?

I built there ... It really depends on what you want to place in which spot, but you can build there. You will have to adapt to the landscape, but it is not impossible to build a nice village in your dream spot.

Why not try to adapt to the game?

I mean, the main purpose of this game is to build - so why restrict players to building only in a few places? Logically it makes sense to allow some freedom with building, because that's what players will want to do.

This is a pretty bad response for a "Community Representative" ill never support this DEV or game due to you :steambored:

I dont see how this is a bad response, if the game and engine isn't designed for terrain modification then it is simply that and he stated that. It's like going to a Pizza place that doesn't serve breadsticks. Should they? Yes, but if they don't have the equipment for making breadsticks, there's no point in getting an attitude with them. You got your pizza, and they are adding more toppings to it.
LOL, love the breadstick analogy!
That being said, can anyone save me a lot of time running around the map and point me in the general direction of the large waterfall that is in the beginning of the roadmap video? I think its the same one Goldi said she was building near.
Thanks!

Wow! Thanks, completely missed it. LOL I went north to see the tunnel, but never turned south to see the waterfall.
Thanks again!
