Shearing Sheep

I have tried on numerous occasions to shear my own sheep (although my worker gets me a dribble of wool each day)

Is there a secret to shearing? I have the proper tool

i think the issue may be the farming skill level of your worker. i havent really paid a ton of attention to that mechanic but i believe they will produce based on number of animals times their skill level, so that may help.

and on the management tab you should find a list of your animals, there should be a readiness level beside them, i believe that is their production progress, when they are 100% they are ready for harvest. so check them when they are 100% and should be able to sheer. but honestly I have not done much since i have a huge stockpile

They can only be sheared when they are 100% in the management tab, even if they seem to have fully grown. Also, sometimes they can only be sheared during work hour, which is 9am to 6pm.

Work hour is 8AM to 6PM for inhabitant. Assign Animal Breeder for best results.
