10 minutes to thresh 600 wheat into straw and grain- too long
My input is that's too long if it takes 10 real life minutes. When the farming is fixed half of the wheat grain goes back into storage for planting and the other half is sold.- we still pay taxes so you will need to be running a 256 sized field. This will take you about 17-20 minutes to thresh in total.

Asking me to sit for 10 minutes in real life with my thumb up my ***ss unable to do anything in game but look at a bench is. In a pvp based game like world of warships dependent on the level a game has been won or lost or the match has hit the half way point. Thats more time than it takes to take down a boss in WoW. Same for elder scrolls and each has a gather system for crafting in game.

These rates need to be addressed I feel.

Isn't that why you get an npc to do it for you? then again, im unsure if they can do crafting as far as i played, so dunno

yeah they can do crafting but they are also slower than us.

Huh, okay, but cant you like, set multiple people to a barn? i have the level one barn and i can set two people, i wonder if the second level barn can have a third person just threshing wheat,
I actually want to make a Discussion about how Npc's work right now, see if anyone has experimented with what they can and cant do, i just cant seem to find any info online.

you can set 8 at level 2 and 12 at level 3 for everyone you set you take away from the fields though.

I get around 1500 flax in a season. I set 3 barn workers to do that, then I thresh the smaller harvested grains myself. The 3 barn workers finish the flax by the time it's harvested again, or close to it, so it works well. I'd fall asleep if I did that much myself, and the steady flow of flax seeds gives me income through the year. Whatever your biggest grain crop is, have them do it.

I set my field worker to threshing wheat grain for the better part of an in-game day. He managed to produce 34 grain. So, I'm now doing my threshing while typing this. If I forget to go back to the game in time, I'll probably starve to death again like I did when threshing 1400 flax yesterday. hehehehe. Oops!

LOL. Absolutely. Now I'm crafting linen thread to fabric to sell before it hits midnight. I'd love to see a 'pass time until complete' option for when we are doing large quantities of crafting if that is possible. Another game I play has the option to pass time by the hour which is very useful.

Lost 3800 flax that way once by the clock ticking over midnight to a new season. Simply because I had it on the floor.

Not really a need for second thread started by you on same theme, I agree with the premise that you should maybe have a zoom to end of task button and sort of wake up like sleeping, so long as there's the possibility of dying because your food / water wasn't good. Personally I go grab a drink or tab out and read forum but I understand some folks have limited play time or low boredom thresholds.

That being said it's a slippy slope automating parts of the game and it may not be what the devs want.

over loaded yes I have the same issue but not as bad as your making it my 66 plot field is enough to bring in all the shirts I will ever need to pay taxes got a seamstress working that and noble shoes honestly a pair of shoes a day and a shirt a day are not that bad added to all the food and other items I have going if your at the point where a field is that large your just making money fo rhte sake of making money let your workers do it they will keep the cash flow comming
