Is there a way to remove a field or a building. or tear it down?

I have gone over the building management, and cant seem to find anything

Equip your building hammer and right click, select the "destroy" option, hit things you want gone. Don't expect any resources back, you are too strong to leave anything but dust.

Will the destruction of house and building regain some of the materials used to build them? Also I have yet to see any trees regrow from stumps.

Trees respawn in 2 years if you dont remove the stump

No. You get no materials back.

It takes 2 full years after the year you chopped the tree.
