What to do with stone/rocks?
All I do anymore is pull them out of storage and drop them on the floor. They aren't efficient for carrying to sell. Turning them into throwing stones and carrying to sell is better but still not worth the effort. This is where I wish they had carts. From what I can tell, a stone hoe uses the most stone (4) but their weight to sale price doesn't seem worth it either. Same with Salt. I make the trip(s) but it seems like a huge waste of time since you only get 3 days per season.

Here's an idea that works well for me...
Build a Resource Storage as close as you can to Gostovia (assuming you visit this village more than any other).
Then fill up your Resource storage at your village with whatever you want to sell at Gostovia. In my case this is mainly potage, thick leather gloves and iron hammers. You can shift loads of throwing stones too! The additional bonus is that you double your storage capacity.
This cuts the travel distance greatly and even if the short walk from your proxy storage is a little slow, it's well worth it ;)
It works so well, I'm considering building a third Resource Storage close to Denica in order to make trading there a breeze also ;)

With the new beta update, you can go into your Mine in the management screen and control the amount of salt, rocks and iron you collect. I currently have so many rocks and salt from before, that I just set the mine to 100% iron now until I blow through the rest.

You can have enough crafters to make insane amounts of stone knifes for sale.

I haven't started on the beta yet, but I've got literally tons of stone lying around on the floor at Resource Storages. I started dropping the salt too. And if I wasn't building a palisade around the entire southeastern lake then I'd also be dropping thousands of logs, lol.

Hopefully the management tweaks in the beta should address this issue now.

But yeah, don't even bother trying to sell heavy stuff at low prices. Just stick to selling farming output and iron arrows/hammers, and you shouldn't have a problem with cash.

That's actually a good idea for now. I'm still in the alpha version. Kinda odd that alpha didn't get upgraded to beta...

There's instructions on updating to the open beta build on the announcements page. You need to input the beta build they give there.

I personally place a storage as close as possible to unstuck, works quite nicely :D
