I need a barking dog in my village that I can pet.
It could also have a function to keep away robbers
or wild animals !
And a new small building like the dog house.
I would love that idea !

Depends on the breed and culture. They where expensive during medieval times so only really successful farmers used them but cold-blooded horses was semi common. It's was mostly for work on field and in the forest but they where also used for transport humans. However in some cultures a warm-blood was actually illegal to own without permit from the King.

I guess the game already has some hints that riding a horse was not that common. It seems you need to acquire the skill for that first.
