What to do when i ask my wife to get a child, but didn't come home in the night ?

as the title implied... i was wondering what to do next ? does my game basiclly over? or can i re marry ? or what am i to do here to get a child ?

If you got married in a town far from your village, she will start walking towards your house. Normally, if you 'Sleep' through a night she will be there in the morning. If you work all night then she may still be walking.

You can change the filter on the map, which may help you see where she is.

Also, it takes 3 seasons (9 months) before your child will be born.

no thats not what i meant, what i did is ask the wife to get child, but then i go hunting for 2 days straight then come home since i remember to get child. but i didn't get notified about the wife pregnant like what i saw in youtube. so does that mean i canceled the making child ?

You do not get notified when your wife is pregnant. Once you asked her about the child and she agreed, she is auto-pregnant and you will have that baby 3 seasons later, no matter what you do or where you are.

its Year 3 and i think i passed 2 winter already with the wife still nothing come out.. but i will wait till Year 4 to make sure..

Two winters with a wife and no child is definitely too long.

After you asked your wife to marry her, did you bring up the dialogue to talk about something dear with her, and did you see the option "I think we are now ready for a child"? And did you choose that option? And did she reply that she thinks so too?

Sometimes the question seems to not show up after marriage, when the probabilty that she'd marry you was not 100% or affection was not 100%. Did you have that exact dialogue with your wife?

yeah i did have that exact conversation, just didn't get the fun part of making the actual child.. and kinda glitch myself to game over... (i hope not thou..)

If you had that conversation and you didn't get a child after more than a year, it would be a good idea to post this issue in the bug reports. Maybe someone can have a look at your save file.
