What does Dynasty Reputation do?
From what i could find with google, in the past, there was a villager limit tied to dynasty reputation, but now you only have a building limit. The building limit is tied to your progress in the chapter quests. Which leaves the question: what does dynasty reputation do nowadays?

P.S.: This is something i really dislike about early access: You find tons of information that's outdated, and you have no clue if it is or isn't.
For example, i only found out your wife can't reset your skills anymore because she actually couldn't. When i searched for the reason for that i found that it was replaced by a potion.

I think it's only for finishing your game if it gets too low. otherwise I have not seen any effect for dynasty rep.

AFAIK as your population grows, you need higher dynasty reputation to invite new villagers.

As i said, i read somewhere that it was like this in the past, but isn't the case anymore. Also, i can't find any mention of a villager limit anywhere in the game, only a building limit.

In previous version you´ve needed reputation for building limit. That´s changed to the chapter quest. The repution is still for the recruiting limit. Its just a hidden limit.

It still is used though, as I could get my first female villager, but I couldn't get the second male one because my dynasty rep was not high enough.

Depending on how many (adult) villagers you have, you need a certain amount of Dynasty reputation. Each new(adult) villager increases the amount required to recruit the next.

Ok, thanks for the information.
Is there any way to see this ingame?

Only when you reached the soft limit, when trying to recruit a new villager it will tell you how much reputation you need before you can recruit.

To add to this, the amount of DR you already have is shown in management tab

Yeah, i know that. But i mean, is there any way seeing the adult population limit? The management tab lists "Buildings 22/65". It would probably much more helpful to list "Adult Population 12/x" instead of "Workers 10/10". Or is there any use for the latter information except for knowing that you have jobless villagers, which you can also easily see in the detailed people tab (any adult with a - as profession is currently unemployed).

The population limit changes with each worker you hire and with each child in the village which turns 18. I agree it might be nice to be able to see somewhere in your management how much reputation you currently need to hire a new worker, but this option isn't available at the moment. You need to go to a campfire, hire someone and this person will either come along or tell you how much reputation you need.
