House: limestone upgrade
Hello, I upgraded my house a while ago and now i wanted to upgrade every other house in the village to limestone. I upgraded a first house but barely saw any difference in wood consumption, and when i compared it to my house (which is same size), my house consume only 18 wood while the other one consume 33 wood, both being full limestone. Do i miss something here or is it maybe a bug ?

Are you sure you didn't miss something? A wall? Or the triangular section under the roof?
Different roofs?

do you have a wife and a son? You don´t consume wood, only your wife does. Childs consum less than an adult, depends on their ages.
And at which time do you upgrade it? It seems the wood consume stat on the house change only in the worktime (that´s the time, when they consume wood, water, food).
The insulation should be the same. And from that it get calculated (in a little tricky way :D

Also everyone's firewood consumption is higher if you stay up all night.

not since version 0.6. Since this update the consum of wood and food changed from one food / wood per hour to 30 per daily. And the storage use is during the worktime. Sleeping or not doesn´t matter anymore.

Villagers require food and wood only during working hours (8:00-18:00). (10 hours instead of 24 hours)

I didn't miss any part of the house. Yes i have a wife and son. But when i upgraded my own house, i clearly checked the wood consumption before and after, each time i. Upgraded à part of the house i could see the wood consumption of the house going lower. The same didn't happened when i upgraded one of my villager house. Actually, it seems quite useless to upgrade the whole village to limestone, which is sad :/

Its absolut worth and should work (it does for me). Like i said. The numbers of wood consume at the house tab can need a little bit for actualysing if you do it outside the worktime (8am to 6pm). I tracked it too, the insulation goes higher, the wood consume stay. At the next worktime, the wood consume is the correct one.
At current setting, a full limestoned house have 100% insulation and the basic need dropped to 15 wood per day. (50% in summer, 150% in winter).

Have you tried building a non-limestone house putting villagers in it and compare it to the upgraded one with villagers?

it might take a day to reset things. After upgrading the next day it should be lower usually the day you do something it doesn't always register because the game has already calculated for that day however the next one it should register properly
