console commands?

Is there a console command to adjust the brightness I have searched through all the setting and I just can not seem to find one. Even during the middle of the day if I go into a forest when it is raining I can not see anything even the trees until I run into them. My laptop is not the newest and I have brightness and contrast set as high as it will go but I am just not able to see. I know it needs to be replaced I usually have to adjust the gamma control on most games but I can not find a setting for this one and I am hoping there is a console command to do it with.

No. Brightness and Gamma settings aren’t in the game but the devs know they are on the wishlist of stuff players want. There’s some coloredit mods on nexus hub you could try to see if they help (they mainly just remove fog and crank contrast I don’t care for them as it makes it too Skyrim for me but it may help in your case)

PS — and before someone reads this and gets all excited, no, there’s no mod support or real mods yet. Just edited save files to start with “cheated ahead” money and skill, or some recoloring of textures.

If it is really bad, open your vid card control panel and up the gamma on your computer before you start the game. Other option is a potion you can make ingame to see at night.
