Pigs not breeding

Is any one else have a problem with the pigs not breeding i have ones for 3 years no piglets but i have other animals they started as early as next season

Every female animal has 15% (20% horse/donkey) per male to breed. Its just random.

the worker has no effect at breeding.

Did you give them food? Check the trough is full and not just food in the sack.

Yes, I am having the same issue. Food is full, breeder is a 3 in farming. Went and bought another pair just to be sure.

The sort of hidden nugget in what subwaybananas said is per male. 1 male =15% chance for baby animal at season change but 2 males = 30% chance. 15% is a pretty low chance.

As of right now there’s a bug that makes pigs and some other animals never eat from their trough and thus do not progress. I’ve seen a dev mention it’s on the “known issues” list a couple times now. Been that way since their last patch pre-release.

Not sure why they did the “staging” patch if they didn’t fix any of the bugs people reported from it, before pushing it to live, but hey whatever I guess.

just made my peg bought 1 female 1 male, at the last day of the season, next day (new season) i have 2 piglets i even tought the % had improved since my EA i also had my couple for 3 years until i finaly started to have piglets.

I finally got a piglet after five years. I see also that the pigs now live 18 years so maybe its designed this way?

My pigs refuse to breed as well and none of the animals/birds eat animal food (100% filled troughs). I don’t even make animal food any more. Not that I am complaining.

Same here. My pigs bred once, then stopped for 3 years now.

My chickens are breeding fine but my pigs don't. My animal feed seems to be disappearing so I assume they're eating, although since the full game was released I noticed I don't get a "hungry animals" icon when I run out. Manure and eggs are being produced.

It worked on mine but it took 2 years before they had a baby pig and it still happened even tho they don't eat, same as my fold where i put 1 male 3 female goats then the next season i saw 3 goatlings (dang this goat worked hard)

It's just about luck. My Pigs are breeding as hell. I had to sell some of them to make space. There is nothing special to do. Like people said, you need an animal breeder, a male, a female & animal food in the animal feeder device.
