Arrow Bounce?
Why do arrows bounce off animals?

Yes same question, seems like the latest update somehow make all the arrow, bolt and spear keep bouncing off the animal. I mean it still have a very small chance that it stay on the animal but so far in my game 95% the time it just bouncing off.

I think this is less likely with the stronger bows and iron arrows, but head shots do do damage even if the arrow doesn't survive sticking out of its head.

If it is less likely, not noticeably so. Using iron arrows + longbow and they bounce from headshot direct, not like it's a glancing blow that somehow passes through... frontal head on.. the physics of it is laughable.. even a side shot into the fleshy part of a body should stick in most of the time even if it does legitimately do less dmg and not kill, maybe they have iron hides lol

I think its a ridiculous change and is annoying me no end, specially on hills when you have to run after your spear or arrow.

Just behind the bony part of the head or top of the neck is a good spot for high damage with good penetration and retention.
