Grub the field Chapter V: The Farm issue?

I have to grub the field but i have harvested everything on the field and it still says i need to grub the field. Am i missing something bc till then i cannot progress village.

"Grubbing the field" is the very first time you hit a field with a hoe after you lay it out.

Guessing you got the quest after you already made your first field like I did. Just make a tiny new field and hit one square with the hoe to grub it up. That should complete that portion of the quest, it did for me.

You have to do all the fields from scratch. It is suppose to recognize the barn if you already have one built. But this is a little bugged. it did not on my game. I had to tear the barn down and rebuild it to finish the quest

yeah i just put a single plot and grubbed it lol. Kinda threw me off.

I know this is an old post, but I had the same problem just know. However in my case simply creating a new plot didn't work. I had to delete my previous field with the hammer to finish the quest!
