will there ever be pets like house pets, dogs and such? or a pet dog that can travel with me wherever i go? hmmm

Ohhh wouldn't that be great? Pet Lynx, or Fox, or ... or ... uhm, I got nothing. Well actually yes I do. There is no Record of the word Pet, before the 16th Century, Oh to be sure they had Dogs, and Dog Boys to handle them, and protect the cattle. As well as the rare Lapdog akin to the Cavalier King Charles breed.
But all of that aside, we the player would be looking at more micro managing, and the Devs at least 6 months of headaches.

Allow me to clarify for you. It wasn't until the 1600's that Pets became a thing with Lords, and Ladies. There were Working Dogs that watched over Cattle and Flocks of Sheep, who had a Handler called The Dog Boy. The Artists would have to make a Kennel, and add the Devs an AI for Dog, and Dog Boy to handle the Dogs.
That said... I don't think this is even on the drawing board for MD.
