Don't see any animals.

Just that, is this a glitch? I have been wandering around and I don't see any rabbits or anything else at all. Hell, I died because I couldn't find any food or animals to hunt.

I've been killed by a wolf and a wisent since full release so I can verify that there are definitely animals. No mushrooms? No fish?

I have seen mushrooms, I haven't looked for fish yet. Animals in the village I see, chickens and all that. But out in the wild, I haven't seen any at all running around.

I started a new game. Since I died in the other one. And I just saw a deer. I have been playing for about 4 hours today and I hadn't seen a single wild animal in the game before that.

Not like you can kill a deer anyway lol... 1 shot and they bolt off at the speed of light into the distance. Plenty of animals around for me

I still haven't seen any rabbits in my game at all. I have seen one deer but that is all. Hell I can't make a bow yet at all.

There is a skill that highlights wild animals for you in inspector mode. You can also ask hunter NPCs to mark the region where you will find certain animals on your map. This should help you spot them.
