how can i access the maps?

I have downloaded the DLC but i can't find where it is and how to see the contents.
Can someone help

also what DLC?
Map show only the 8 villages, quest markers, & my player marker, that it. I used the filters & nothing happen or shows up. NO mines, caves, resources, animals. I have yet to see any fish. Finally got Tracker skill, but can NOT see any animals with the Alt key. I can use the trap for rabbits & if I zoom in to lowest level the trap show on may if I have the map in area of the trap, however I can NOT roast the meat over a campfire. I did once by accident after sleeping next to the campfire & that was the 1st thing I did after waking up. But have not been able to repeat that again. This game has a lot of potential, but currently it SUCKS. I have write down were the vendors are. Some where I read about a free waterskin by broken fence going to Sambor. I found the broken fence & after 3 days of searching I have not found the waterskin or the crash cart. Lot of hogs, which I have been unable to kill or track & I can NOT pick up my spears. I can make them wiggle & hold them up in the air. I can not recover them. So could some one tell what the hell I am doing wrong, PLEASE!

The easiest way to find it is to right click on Medieval Dynasties in your library... choose manage... browse local files... if you have the map DLC you should see a folder named Map Pack Content... inside there is English and German... right click on the English file and choose send to... desktop (create shortcut)... left click and you can then quickly open the maps from your desktop.
This is IF you have the Free DLC downloaded... if not, get it.

Thanks I had to download the Map DLC, but I got it. Now to figure out what the different symbols mean. Some are easy others I don't quit get yet. I allso need to figure out how to access it from the game. Thanks again for your help.

A couple of things:

The tracker skill does not show animals on the map, it shows animals near you in the world (when you press ALT).

To roast meat, look at a campfire or at the fire under the cauldron in your house (not the cauldron itself). You may need to light the fire with a torch; make sure you have a torch equipped in the torch slot.

You can ask any NPC about the location of vendors ("where do I find..." conversational option).

The overturned cart near Sambor used to be guaranteed, now it's a random chance each season along with all the other random loot sites.

I have done what you say about roasting meat the fires are lite & when I press 'E' all i get is do I want to sleep or exit. I have tried to left or right click the fire nothing happens. I have two highlighted 'E' one on top of the other. The bottom one has a little green tick on lower right corner. Like I said before pressing the 'E' key gave me a circle menu of things to roast. I have not received that menu again.
I bought the game manual from the dev people & I just finished reading it & I understand a lot of things now, which helps a lot. Thanks for your help! :)

The E key does two things based on how long you hold it down. E with no circle - tap the key. E with a circle - press and hold.
