What game is this most similar to?
I'm talking about actual gameplay feel and mechanics? Is it more like Kingdom Come or Fallout etc..

Anyone know why Kingdom Come Deliverance stop updating their game, was a flopped? I personally thought it was breakthrough in gaming history. very sad to see nothing new from the developer

As for why no updates it might have something to do with them changing publishers. You see most of these devs for kingdom come also made the legendary game called mafia 2 which the publisher 2k totally screwed over so it might be a familiar story repeating there.

KC:D saw massive financial success, and while it was kickstartered, it was neither an early access game, nor an "continual developing" game(It was never pitched as that, it was pitched as a complete standalone game, similar to say Skyrim, or The Witcher 3). The game was completely feature complete in 2018-02-14, barred the kickstarter promises, they were subsequently released as DLC(and some half-promises were released as free updates), and so after the release of the mod support, the game was 100% feature complete and released as promised in the kickstarter(barred that the modding support sucked).

Games like Unreal World, that recieve continual updates for (nearly) 30 years, are the absolute exception, and not the norm.

KC:D2 will, like KC:D be a standalone, feature complete game on release, where patches will primarily function as bug-fixes and tweaking, while (paid) DLC's will feature additional content. It will not be continually updated for years to come.

I'm gonna chime in with an odd one.
Rimworld.
MD is a colony sim at heart. The 101 of both games is to keep your pawns happy.
Fed, warm, healthy and in good mood.
And to expand and develop your settlement.

It has the group structure of Fade to Silence (I can't exclaim how much I wish that team hadn't abandoned that game), the crafting complexity of UnReal World, and the management of a properly watered down Dwarf Fortress (minus tantrum spirals and other "fun"). It's much less hardcore than the Long Dark and, once you get the hang of it, way less micromanage-y than Oxygen Not Included. It's survival with plenty to do, but it still has chill moments. You can play as hard or as easy as you want and it scales comfortably.

Also, no zombies. I can't tell you how extremely tired I am of zombies. Thank you devs for not having zombies.

A bit of Conan Exiles maybe?
Ark: Survival Evolved without dinos and figting maybe?
Yea, Fallout 4 but only the settlement building part.
Also Kingdom Come Deliverance has village building DLC that is quite similar to this.

But WITHOUT:

Creating your kingdom
Being a bandit
Waging wars
Opening shops
Every human being simulated, building their own cities, villages and countries

This looks like a carebear version of kingdom come to me

It's nothing like Kingdom Come Deliverance apart from the medieval setting.

It's definitely more of a laid back, relaxed survival game. Yes, it's demanding at the beginning, but pretty soon, once you get established, it's pretty laid back. You don't HAVE to do everything right now. There aren't 100 levels you need to rush through. You don't have to build your village in a day.

For me, its a cross between Banished and Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
