Set up a small 4x3 field and watching my npc-worker trying to plow it for 2 ingame days now (he is at skill-level 4 in farming as far as I see), but the field is still in it's original "sticks around it" state.
Do you need alot more field worker for even such small fields? :/
[Edit]
Okay found out my problem was, that the barn actually needs the tools in it for it to work. Good to know :)
@kungfubear:
Did you set up the fields what they're supposed to grow in them?
In the management-tab select the fields, there you can tell in which field the npcs should put what kind of plant to grow.

i would add now, that you have inside a radius from some hundred meters or the game stop calculating them. others workers will work and you see the progress bar, but farming isnt fully implemented now and they only do progress, if they are visually working on the fields.
Thanks a lot
