They get the engine (assets*) from Kingdom come?
There is no way this game was made from scratch it has the exact art of kingdom come, so curious if they got the engine from the game.

Assets have nothing to do with the game engine. Kingdom come uses CryEngine, I don't know what this one uses but most likely Unreal Engine.

i havent played KCD in a while, but it does look very similar, not only the models but even some UI elements

either way feels rather odd that they look so much alike unless the reason is the shared assets then.

I know ark sold out to others to use their assets/engine.

It is largely font and layout that matches KCD. No they didn't buy anything from KCD to achieve it. A competent UI person can easily do it. To confirm, KCD = CryEngine, Medieval Dynasty = UE4. They're kind of competitors in the same space.

I find it doubtful that a game like KCD would sell their assets.

Can't really say whether they bought the assets or made them, there's no real difference if both are made by people that know what they're doing, although bought assets tend to be of lower quality and look out of place at times.

Also when making a realistic medieval game, there are only so many ways things can look. I haven't played KCD in a long time, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do look similar.

ARK uses UE4, it is not their engine to sell.

Ground looks like ground, tree looks like tree, water looks like water. Not exactly sure how many ways you people think these things can be displayed.

Even the people have like.... ears and things. :steammocking:

I mean, you cant really say the Text is a rip off its the universally associated with writings of that day the Blackletter type face: Gothic, Fraktur or Old English are the 3 main fonts respectively.
