Where do I mine iron?

I just want to know around what town, or area of the map has iron to mine?

There is in the mountains, on the middle of the map, a cave (there are bears there as well). There you should be able to mine iron. Also, the mine description says you need to build it over a cave.

there are like 4-6 mines on the map not sure i use supportersmap while gaming there are more informations ^^#

If you follow the South East "river" of the very South East lake, there is a cave/mine on the left side.
Maybe 150-250m away from the lake.

Sadly can't upload the screenshots.

And yes, there is probably always a bear next to or in the cave/mine.

One of the perks gives you an increased chance of getting iron from mining stone so that is probably how you get it. The cave mentioned above only contains stone nodes (that I saw at least).

not sure how to post a picture on here, otherwise i could show you where the location of the cave i get iron from. its south of the starting village the first set of mountains you come too.

Thanks for your replies, I found the cave for iron, and killed the bears. I just need to figure out how to smelt it and make iron tools. Even though I bought the tool schematics already.

There is no smelting in game at the moment. You can just use the unrefined iron to make the tools at the anvil.
