Status: No Wood? Bye!
I keep getting inhabitants, assign them to tasks, and they end up leaving because it says I have no wood available. I assign one to chop wood each time and the mood drops to 0 in a day and they leave over and over. I even tried stocking one of my 10 buildings with logs and sticks just to see what would happen, they are not satisfied. Anybody having success with this?

Dumb question but is your wood stored in resource building?

I don't know if they do it automatically, but I've been taking the logs from the lumberjack and cutting them into firewood to store in the Resource building. That seems to satisfy the "no wood" issue.

Yeah, store in the resource building and dont forget to turn the logs into firewood. But it's very unbalanced. Workers can'tt produce the resources not even near the rate they consume it. Must be fixed.
Try to add "sticks" in the ressource storage instead of firewood

Is it even worth turning it into firewood? Logs and sticks seem to work for me

Same here, sticks work perfectly

1 log = 2.0 res. 1 log = 4 firewood. 4 firewood = 4.0 res. 1 stick = 0,2 res. Wait for the winter, you'll pass the whole day collecting sticks.

It was not! In fact, I built every building except that one. I figured it was something I was just missing and wasn't a bug. Problem solved. Having the same issue with the No Food also if anyone has an answer to that also. I have had a food storage building up forever, stocked up.

ok was having the same issue and figured out only prepared foods roasted meats, potage, things like that seem to work. the raw meat did not factor into things so it seems like you really have to micromanage each buildings resources

roasted meat, some shrooms, and berries, will last awhile in the food storage building. however you have to constantly keep wood in the resource building, woodsheds and lumberjacks do not seem to replenish wood at all, neither does the hunting shack with a hunter and a gather replenish the food storage, im sure they'll get it fixed.. in otherwords its more of a hassle to have villagers right now untill it gets fixed

Yup, that was it, I was putting tons of raw meat in the food storage. The workers are happy now and so am I, whew. I can definitely see how this can be a hassle. I haven't assigned a cook yet so I don't know if that will help replenish the storage on it's own. Thanks for all the tips.

You get much more out of food when you cook it into meals in the pot.

Put logs in ur resources storage, u dont need to make firewood for u people, logs are fine. Store food in ur food storage. Then they will be satisfied. :)

So, is this game worth buying right now? I won't play a game where I have to hand feed all the villagers. Women even in the 1940's & 1950's worked hard. I have relatives who did, working out there alongside their man. Games like this, we have to first realize we need food and water, then shelter for the night. Work on that first before trying to build a home. A town should have a bunk house for immigrants to help them get started.

I it worth, its awesome game, until you get some buildings up and learn the game it will be fixed (that is if you have life and a job) im not even in year two and they already fixed bugs I encountered ... there are few dynasty games out already, workers will be fixed in no time imho (hoping)

workers are a core feature in my eyes , so they should for sure put some priority on that. Otherwise we would be running around like crazy to progress and keep our villagers happy. When i hire a hunter i expect him to at least find food , right now he does not even hunt for me
