Sowing Doesn't Seem to Work

I've created a field. I have a bag with manure and seeds. I used a hoe on the plot. The game just doesn't do anything with the bag of manure. It says bag of manure required to sow. It's equipped and left clicking does nothing.

As someone mentioned, some seeds are only possible to seed at spring or summer. Check the requrements for the seeds.

My personal thought is, that farming isn't fully developed at the EA state, but I think the devs should clarify that statement.

I can not sow the seeds even the season is quite right...

and i cant sow or even manure my old fields from last season after winter

yes .. I used my fields in winter and spring but not fruits to harvest .. somtings wrong .. all seeds I buyied are lost .. so frustrating

lucky thing is that i m at this time good enough in hunting/collecting to feed my villagers with berrys and roasted meat

where did you find the bag of manure? I bought the bag, but can't find any manure, there aren't pigs in gostovia

I bought the manure from a town up north. The fields used up my onion seeds (it was spring), but nothing was planted. So, I guess just avoid farming for now.

you have to right click and specify what seed you want to use

you definitely need to sow the seeds in the correct season - rye for example in autumn - and you need a bag - to put the seed in - stick the bag in your hotbar - select it, (read; equip), when you have it in hand, right click to select the seed you want to plant. then left click should sow the seed - providing every other condition has been me such as manure, season, etc etc

so are TWO bags needed for this? one with manue, one with the seed? because I have manure on me, and seeds, and a single bag, and NOTHING can be planted or worked in summer, is that right?

I have 2 bags , manure and seeds and stand in spring on the field, it says unpluged field need manure and I have it activ in my hand , I change to the hoe and can do nothing, I had placeds seeds 1 year befor and nothing grows .. at this time Im angry about this mechanic ... I need food.. I have now 5 People and all the time in collectings flesh and berrys

You don`t need two bags. Just have manure and the seed in your inventory. Equip the bag and right-click select manure first. Then equip plow and plough the field. After that equip the bag again and right-click select the seed.

manure is bugged for me

I will describe in all the details what I did:
- got bag and seeds
- put seeds into bag
- created field
- plowed the fields
- put the seeds on the fields
- waited until ready and havested
- bought manure
- put manure into bag
- put manure onto fields (9 out of 20)
- plowed the fields
- put seeds into bag
- put the seeds on the fields
- put manure into bag
- bug: cannot put manure onto fields anymore

I tried about everything now. Changed content of bag between seeds and manure, tried combination of plowing & putting manure, unequipped the bag, removed the bag from inventory, ... in all different combinations. I now closed the game and started it again but same problem.

I have manure in a bag in my hand but I am not able to put it on the fields even I already did 9 times before.

I was messing around on the last day of fall and created a field. Then winter came and the field turned un-plowed and now I cannot do anything with it. And an added bonus is this added to my taxes.
