Difference between wooden and iron hammer?
Did somebody notice any difference between the wooden and iron hammer regarding wear and power? I didn't.

Iron hammer seems to swing faster and take less stamina and last longer but due to the first two does not feel like it lasts longer.

When i tried it vs a tier 2 stone house i needed two wood hammers vs 60% of a iron hammer.

The iron hammer/iron hoe and scythe could all use an increase to durability as atm the only tools you want to get iron asap are the axe which is a huge improvement over stone and the pickaxe where you don't have a choice.

I agree. Axe pays for itself easily. Hoe is not too terribly bad. Scyth and pickaxe you do not have a real choice in whether to make them or not. You have to have both. Scyth if you plan to grow any sort of grain crops and harvest them yourself. The iron hammer just feels like a huge waste of iron to me. I can get way more value from that same iron by turning it into light and easy to carry and also easy to sell iron arrows. It barely outlasts the cheap wooden hammer. So make 2 wooden hammers and use your iron more sensibly.

Depends on what stage of the game you are in imo once you have two miners and a good crafter you can have them craft iron hammers all year long (never have them do arrows as you will get 1 arrow per craft instead of 50) and use a few here and there and save yourself time making wood hammers and carry an extra log when building as well.

Early on when your hand mining iron yea just go with the wooden hammer.

Honestly at this stage in development money is kinda pointless in game as livestock is best ignored as the rate of return is pretty much never going to happen and most tailoring products are worth less then their base components. High end foods take many times the resources that potage does at only marginally more food provided and anything needing a bucket of water is broken with ai crafting aka they use the whole bucket on one loaf of bread like all 300 charges of water.

I don´t need tools, I have workers !

Only tool I really need is a hammer for the sessional repairs, no worker for that yet.

I also need an Iron Knife, strong enough to fight a wolf and low weight, so I can carry more goods for trading.

If we come to the point when workers use up tools, well then yes need some tools for my workers but not for myself.
