Heat map location of where players build their villages (well, most of you)

So, this is may a little bit redundant with the already many threads about the best location to build your little peaceful village, except I try to visualize it.

I gather the location of your village across the valley from several threads listed below. Some of you share the image of actual location so I could pin point the heat map precisely, but the rests are derived from geographical descriptions, so accuracy may vary.

#1. The most frequent spot of choice for your village. But I think most of you build there for your first game and either move to another location or just continue to expand on that spot.

#2. Quite popular spot for "second game location". This is applied to all the heat map you see starting from the second bridge west of Gostovia, along the riverside past the small bridge with that small island.

#3. Never expect anyone to mention that spot before, quite surprising for me.

#4. That is where my village also. Some mention the actual spot varies starting from North of the second bridge west of Gostovia, continue west until a little bridge crossing a creek and a clay deposit.

#5. The crossroads. Not the first location for many of you but that's quite nice location and flat lands.

You get regular spawns almost on top of sambors hut for 1-4 wolves, 1-3 bears spawn along the right hand stream leading off the swamp, both at night. In the day you get loads of deer and a few foxes all around Sambor and behind Sambors hut heading towards the right hand stream Wisent in the day. In the swamp there are 1-4 Boars day or night.

In the second run i started between Denica and Gostovia, just some meters left from the clay deposit near the river (fish and straw). Took the mine to the south between Gostovia and Hornica with workshop I (extra storage and getting throwingstones etc). Fully packed with like 150 kg of stuff i use the "port" to the starting location (where i got a forge as tradingpost), doing some resorting and move to Gostovia selling the crap, port back again and repeat.

I was intending to build next to the lake at #3 - but got there, and decided I didn't really like it that much, so I walked north along the creek, and ended up building my house at the bottom of the waterfall on that creek. Lovely view, lol. The rest of my village is at the second dot to the left of #2, houses along the road to the west of the creek, fields to the east of the creek.

So your own house is separated, like, 100m away from the rest of your village. I must say, interesting idea.

More or less, yes. There is a stand of pine trees in front of me, and then the hunting lodge and a couple of animal breeders in the 'in-between'. So you can look out the front at glimpses of the village peeking through the trees. I'm not a 'living in town' type of guy, lol.

I'm at the small "crossroads" south of Lesnica. Starting to feel lonely now, looking at that map.

First village was just west of #4 past the river. Second on the west side of Hornica lake. Been considering moving my village after I unlocked houses, since its quite cramped where I am, but haven't found a nice spot yet.

I'm east of Hornica. So much game that over a hundred meat appears in my lodge ( type II ) every season. The mine is less than a minute away and a stream/lake sits right beside it. Once I came across it I just had to move my whole village away from spot 2.

My original village was up at the northern mine between Branica and Baranica. I ran into some issues up there though when I began running out of flat area to add buildings. I relocated everything down to #5 and set up there in around year-4 or so. It's a really nice spot, with tons of flat land for crops and easy building. Now I just need to get upgraded to "city" so I can get some more buildings and residents.

I'm at #5, love the many roads, I build around them so no need for making roads with ploughed fields. Many village around to sell at, clay not too far, lots of animals to hunt. It's far from Gostovia but I go there only to pay my taxes so no big deal.

What do you do for the quests? At the start you are pratically forced to do the quests in the first village.
Can you build your hut there and the rest of your village quite a bit away and later scrap the first house and move away?

The main stories often ask you to wait for next season so I coincide my trips to Gostovia with something useful like buying seeds, selling stuff etc. and I cut down a few maple trees on my way back. It was not a hassle.

Currently using #4 for present playthrough for it's central location (easy access to 4 towns and the mine near brancia, plenty of nearby hunting grounds.). Both it and #2 also have access to maple trees (4 logs each), which cuts down on the early game hell when it comes to logging.

First town was right off the bridge at 2 for sure...overestimated how much I'd have to go back and forth to Gostovia. Now with a playthru under the belt, and knowing you can place storages anywhere, will probably go with a nice scenic place around 3 and just be sure to build 'trading posts' for inventory management in places like 5 and 1.
