Were their any negative affects to kicking out children? rep loss or parents mood drop?, i just had 4 moms pop out kids the same damn season, ones on her 2nd kid and i cant even make a second kid and mines the oldest child in town
No, I didn't notice any loss of points. I was in a village trying to recruit a new villager. it said I needed 20,000 points. I kicked out a child and then I asked the NPC again and he happily joined. But I have tried it again and it is kicking the entire family out. So I don't know if it has to be the 2nd or 3rd kid. I can't remember who the parents were for the kid I kicked out but they def did not leave.
Well looks like the devs are inserting a little modern day bias her, I was working probably 1/2 day on the family farm by the time I was 5 to 7 during the summers. In medieval times a wife did not get maternity leave from work and the children would start helping in the fields or animal pens as soon as they where able to 5 to 7 year old maybe. They would be married of as full adults by 12 or 13 starting their own families.
"ooooh poor liittle johnny got taken by a wolf such a shame."

"this is medieval and child protection laws came into place in the 20th Century"
Then limit what they can be assigned ... even if its only fishing/pigs/inn/ something near the village/not far from home ... by 6, then by 12 and then by 18
(noting realistically in the time, adult should be closer to 14) but they (naturally, in this day and age) wanted to avoid marrying a 14 year old and having kids by 15 ...
