You don't need to water your crops.
I guess you missunderstand times for seeding and harvesting.
In the tooltipp you can see for carrots:
Seed them in winter or spring.
Harvest them in summer or fall.
This means:
If you seed them in winter, you can harvest in summer. If you seed them in spring, you'll have to wait until fall before you harvest them.
It's NOT like, seed them in spring and harvest in summer OR winter. It's only the two options which I explained above.
Did you fertilize and plow the field?
Anyway.....i don´t even have a bucket.
