That didn't happen for me, but your villagers do upgrade their skills over time if you keep them on the same task. I had two woodcutters, one at lvl6 and one at lvl4, they're now at lvl8 and lvl6.
Inga from Borowo-- Farm-10 craft-2 dipol-3 excav-3 hunt-2 gather-5
Dagmara from Borowo-- Farm-6 craft-3 diplo-2 excav-4 hunt-8 gather-10
anyone have the stats of a differnt wife?
In my first playthrough, Inga had 10F 5C 2D 4E 4H 4S and in my second playthrough she had 10F 5C 3D 2E 3H 2S.
I don't know when the stats are generated but it's not when you marry them. I saved just before marrying Inga on this playthrough and reloaded 3 times and got the same stats. Wonder if they patched out the tens. :(
While I agree with you about most of the workers we have a major problem with the craft workers and animal workers. The Op of this thread https://steamcommunity.com/app/1129580/discussions/0/2930112548433492798/ did some testing of workers. It appears that leveling of workers is based on the buildings outputs and since all those building have such low output those workers will barely level in their lifetimes.
If they fix that then it won't hurt so bad to get the lower level workers.
By the way nice guide you have allot of useful information there.
