What you are I will not say. Unlike you, I have a bit of class.
I happen to know a lot about the time period.
You would strap the baby to your back and keep working. Stopping to take care of the baby as needed, you wouldn't just stop working for 2 years, as you would ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ starve to death.
- Build the houses from stones, they abound now, and stone houses use less firewood.
- Plant crops that take a long time to grow like wheat and beetroots or carrots, less time passed in the fields.
- Your workers don't eat much cooked food, keep what they need per year and sell the rest.
- Plan your trips to the different villages, if you know you'll need manure buy it in advance to save travel time. Obviously, as soon as you unlock it, the pigsty if your main objective.
Sure having babies and new mothers means less workers but only a few jobs are crucial. Don't be shy to go for 2 lumberjacks if logs are too much of a pain at first. hunting is easy and rather fast and the traps are a good source of meat also, check them many time per day.
Overall, we are so used to quick paced games and we tend to try to rush everything, the quests, the growing of a village. Taking it slow is recommended for this one, it's a dynasty game. A hamlet with only a few people for many years to come is ok, let those mothers finish nursing the babies and you get 50% of your workforce back within 2 years. Also, sleeping at night to speed up the seasons is also fine if you have limited time to play.
In the end it's better to relax building and having fun for a limited time then get frustrated at what little you accomplished in your few hours of gameplay. Your son is supposed to take over one day, he might be the one seeing it grow to a proper village, not his father.
no one forced you to comment on my post, get over yourself.
I will say what you are, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ manchild.
all is relative, and they dont starve to death they keep making food for their children and themselfs, just because they dont work what you want them to doesent mean they areent doing anything... or do you think mothers today dont do anything if they stay at home with their children? you have any idea what a housewife does? she aint lazy!
Yeah simply press x to remove them, also X remove their jobs when you selct their jobs too, X has diferent functions depending on what you select
But beside that everything is working fine. The women will work again after 2 years and the kids will even join your village for free! Just build more houses. And if you cant build more houses do some quests to get more Dynasty points.
This game takes a couple of hours/days/months to play. This is not Age of Empires.
I like bee keeping and brewing, that may be great, but without traveling villagers and the ability for the tavern to make a profit, its just another grind.
pottery seems cool also, but they really need to increase the amoutn of villagers you can have with all this stuff you can do.
how many workers,
do you have a wife.
I had 3 2nd tier house for worker, + 1 for me.
No wife yet, thank god. Someone who had already wife before the game told it to get married having a hard time for wife & child to get registered in game.
