Why can't I assign two women to a house?
This is so frustrating, I started upgrading my wattle homes to rock, and now one of my ladies is stuck homeless until I build another home apparently. Because two women can't be assigned to a home?
I'm hoping this is a bug or overlooked issue that will be updated. Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong lol.

Two males can be assigned to a house though, so probably a bug?

its supposed to be a male and female in one home. they make a family and have children in the future. the child is counted in the village population so do some familly planning if your planning to recruit more as the baby cant do any jobs till its 18

I'm not far in enough to have my villagers have kids yet, but I'm assuming the houses work like other games where you can't actually fill all slots with random adults. Seems to be male + female and one or two spaces reserved for their kids. It would be cool if we had some sort of row house for homeless/unpaired people like in Banished.

I have two worker houses. 1 with a man and woman, and 1 with two men

I had a weird situation where the wife's family moved into the house I lived in with her and ousted me from the house. It wasn't in actuality the case, they were still in their original home but according to in game Management they were all living in my home and I was in one of the other houses. Weird bug probably but slightly annoying as I couldn't then move her in with me without the entire family moving in and as they weren't actually living there I couldn't boot them out either. Just did a restart given the new update so hopefully that's not going to happen again :)

I would like to see the ability to still allow people into one home without having kids. I don't care if man or woman. I just don't like the idea they may decide to pop out kids. Maybe like ARK..and have a off and on option to breeding. Lol..sounds funny..but dang. Kids everywhere. Lil hungry fudgers..

I am trying not to be rude, but this has been talked about so many times, and you feel the need to resurrect a 3yr old thread. It is more about game play than anything else, just build another house and pay the bit extra tax.
Female workers living with a male worker could become pregnant as long as the age gap is within the limit of 20 years. The smaller the age gap between the couple, the bigger the chance for the female worker to become pregnant. I have some couples that are 19 and 28 and after 3 yrs still no kids.

Reducing the age gap like our character to 10 yrs would greatly help to control the population.
