well this game is already very realistic why not add another thing to the realism. I mean witcher series has sex in it. I am just for realism. can have an option to disable the sex content from settings. And imo I dont think many kids gonna play this game any ways

Because it's unnecessary. It adds nothing to the game, just like it added nothing to the Witcher. It will, however, mean changing the rating, which limits their player base. There are 60 year olds playing the game, you can bet your ass there are kids as well.

OP, if you want sex in the game just wait for the mods. CKIII already has a ton of them and it just came out, Skyrim had a ton shortly after it came out, Fallout 4, etc.

No point in the devs adding it to this game as it doesn't add anything and only limits the customer base.

I don't know about allowing XXX hardcore penetration on the frontier xD, but maybe an implied mechanic. Like a super short cutscene where they close the door and the camera pans out would be sufficient.

It's just what I see them talking about.
I can say the same thing then about the animation of cutting a tree. Yes!

Does the character cut trees? Cut.
Does the character have children? Yes, he has!

The problem here is the way religion has impregnated people's minds by saying that sex is dirty and ugly. When it's one of the best things in human life. It is literally the act that creates life!

If you think outside that box, you will see that the act of cutting a tree is just the opposite, because it is destroying a life. War games, with shots and death? Okay, these are fine.

And say that "there is already a lot of game with that". Quite the contrary, isn't it? You can count on your fingers how many AAA or really famous games bring the theme more openly. Most, as some here have said, are only due to the community that creates mods. If you want games that bring sex as normal, they practically don't exist, because they are either totally focused on sex or they don't bring anything, like this game here.

But they do need an audience and the fact is that regardless of how we feel or even the devs personally feel (i doubt they are scared of boobs like us yanks.) they need an audience and a lot of kids will want to play and some parents are not open to that content. thats just reality, unfortunately

There is no need to limit the audience by adding porn to this game. If you want porn, buy a porn game.

And speaking from a sales perspective. I tell you that... if you add that to the game, the hype would be so much that it would bring in a lot more sales.
There is nothing that sells more than sex. Even more with the help of "yinesyines" complaining that there shouldn't be such a thing in the game.

And in the end it could just be what Akatosh said here. A romantic scene with the camera moving away and the house door closing. If you want to spice it up a bit, make the character take off her clothes while closing the door. Done.

Not really - adoption works just fine as well for dynasty creation.

Adding sex would be controversial and ruin their ability to gain more sales - if they got a big PR boost it might work in their favor but chances are it'd be brushed off as a PR grab.

It's also just plain uninteresting - instead of "Press F to Pay Respects" would it be "Press F to climax"? I'm a bigger fan of keeping porn and games separate.

One of the meanings of the word, literally forces you to be of the same blood. And another thing, there is no adoption in the game.
Adding sex, or at least the idea that there was sex, which is what we're talking about here, makes perfect sense.
And the function already exists. You choose the dialog "I think it's time to have a child". There, cut to the cutscene that I described above and you're ready. Contrary to nothing happening at all, and a child later appears in the mother's lap. Where did it come from? The invisible stork?

Joking aside, I found it quite strange to simply choose a dialogue option "it's time to have a child" and he appears like magic some time later. A darkening the screen back and forth, like many games do, it would have been better.
