So, if they add local co-op, and keep it based (quest wise) as a single player game, I won't mind. If they make it online, I'm out. I play games to relax and have fun, if you start getting all of your hard work torn down, while you are asleep in real life, and come back to a destroyed village that took you 4 real days to build, nope, I'll walk.
It is. They are working on it, but the game isn't completed and they really want to push new content and are working on that. People are getting mad, saying we need fixes and not new content, but some of the new content will fix a lot of complaints. Like farming AI. People are non stop complaining about farming AI, when farming isn't even fully done and won't be till Q4. So, we all just have to be patient.
If you aren't to far along, start a new game. If you are, try taking down a wall in your home and making her homeless and see if she leaves you after a few seasons. (you can sleep by fires instead)
I have heard people taking about this, I don't know if there is a way or not. I have kept all my food in the food storage building, which keeps it at 100%. Never had rotten food myself. Good luck, hope you can find the answer.
My fully done village. I am not a youtuber, I don't know how to edit, I don't have a microphone. Very simple short video. Basically just showing you a 30/30 fully upgraded village. Just takes time. I'm planning to put my fields inside the wall once there is bandits, hence the extra space to the west.
Yes, I think you got that this is pretty much what I meant in my last post, seperating co-op from standard MP. I don't need a PVP mode at all, no matter where in such games. <3
Mh, besides that it sounds a bit offensive reading "have their little friends join in", why such hard feelings about people wanting to team up without harming others? I know this whole MP thing could rise rough mood and even hate, but damn everything that's not self-centered then is a bit extreme, I'd say... Single player games are totally fine, but limited to them a lot of people start behaving that self-centered way all day long IRL. I love SP games as well, but I'm voting for balance or the power of having the choice to play with friends. (...not against "friends" in some kinda twisted SM-friendship)
I think this game could really profit from it (CO-OP to repeat it clearly). Online it would need to be of course, because ppl don't go on LAN parties that much nowadays, but it's not the competitive multiplayer-Online you meant, it's still a cooperative one. This is because we play Conan Exiles on our own server, away from any exaggerating people going bonkers.
With the Pippi-Server mod you can as well create own quests, questlines, NPCs and so on, if you're into world building, but(!) I do agree with you that I was a bit disappointed at first when realising, that there weren't quests next to the tutorial. Needed time to find a mood-spot to sort Conan Ex into, find a bunch of mods to implement and finally build a fortress to prosper. There's still waaay to go for Conan Ex to deliver more mechanics to fill the excluded PVP gap for us, but we now know what we can expect from it.
I have so many story driven single player games, but there are so many lost potentials; for some of them (not all) it would've been a thousand times better to archieve things with one or two beloved fellows. Felt that way while playing Kingdom Come Deliverance! And gladly Medieval Dynasty has a quite similar approach to the player, I would dare to hope not to be limited to an (yet quite interesting) Kingdom Come single player building expansion. Ppl need to learn to work together without being forced to by other groups that only gather to consume on the solo players. So at least having an option to play together would help build friendships or keep them alive at large distances.
Especially in such times it's necessary to have things you can build on together without being in competitive fear. We already have that competitive thought in RL, a lot of us are having enough of already.
I think only people that either don't understand to seperate the co-op concept from pvp-mp, or those that are just egocentric or just don't have noone to join in would prefer to always play alone. (or the other extreme permanently in competitive mode) I feel sorry for them, for they should be able to experience the benefits of playing with beloved ones as well.
That said, I hope you understand, that for my part of understanding I think we're pretty much thinking likewise, even if not exacly the same. So in any case - no offence. <3
Just wait for season change. Recruited NPCs get teleported to their home eventually. If you take a look at the menu of the hunting lodge, you will find that he is an expert in remote working and already produces things for you without being there. So, no need to worry. ;)
