Fur boots and cap?

I always had them in my inventory when the first winter came. My husband doesn't and he's freezing. What did I do to get it? Hunt an animal with fur?

They should be a quest reward out of the Unigost questline

The Uniegost quest will get you fur hood and boots after you talk to the hunter and go back to Uniegost. If you need more you'll have to buy things from vendors if you don't have sewing and all the necessary elements. There's a woman in Denica I believe that sells some warm things and also in Branica.

That's cool, so I send him to Unigost instead of hunting foxes which is not his hobby :P

You get fur hood and boots from Unigast quest. If you want extra you need ether buy or craft yourself in Sewing. Fur boots cost 36 leather and fur hood cost 10 wool fabric and 6 leather .

Me again, next issue. Uniegost won't talk to my husband and doesn't have a trading symbol. It's that little writing that a person won't talk to you. I never had that happen. He did some quests for the villagers in the meantime, but Uniegost still won't talk to him. His quest in the journal says: Talk to Uniegost about your future. Any help?

Is it a red message that's like "Uniegost isn't interested in talking to you right now?" If so that's probably a glitch, unfortunately. Sometimes stuff like that is okay after the season changes. The other thing he should check is if the character is dirty! building a wash bin in the furniture section of the crafting menu would fix that, sometimes NPCs won't talk to you if you smell bad, haha.

I had that happen to me my 1st village i was working on but restarted it. If he has the sewing unlocked I found it easier to just hunt deer boars and the ocasional I think there called wincet in game but to me looks like a buffalo did that for like an hour had enough fur and leather to make things to keep warm. Make like 10 wooden spears quick slot one and hunt or use a bow if u can make one but if you cant there is a dude in a house u can buy from him but there are expensive I think Alwins chain has you going to him.
