Japanese Text

Is there any way to switch the text from English to Japanese? Nelke supported this right in the launcher, giving you a hassle-free toggle between English, Chinese and Japanese text, but puzzlingly, they've omitted this functionality from Ryza altogether.

I don't really mind the lack of graphical options or poor performance a lot of people are apparently experiencing, but this issue bothers me way more than it should because they've done it right before. But more than that, it's maddening to think that they've gone out of their way to completely remove support for this past feature, as if it would harm the final product or something to have this option.

It looks like KT decided to not give that option as they haven't for all the main series Atelier games on steam from my understanding.

Japanese publishers do this as they want to drive console sales as PC is the "piracy platform" that undercuts prices.

Could be its regional locked or requires a reinstall, as the option is greyed out for me.

私のローカルディレクトリには全ての言語のムービーファイルとReadmeがあります。

Is it only Japan that supports all languages?
My local directory contains movie files and readmes for all languages.

Looks like it is available for me as well. Seems it was only grayed out because I was in-game.

I hate how the game forces me to use X for confirm and O for cancel, even when I play in Japanese.

Ahaha. I switched the controls in Dragon Star Varnir and im still recovering from that. Keep hitting circle for confirm.

It's so annoying in this game, because they swapped the buttons but still use O to do normal attacks in battle. Then when I try to pick special attacks or move position, I keep hitting O for confirm.

Weren't they selling the Japanese PC version through a different storefront with a special bonus costume that can't be gotten on steam? Why wouldn't you buy that one?

Ah so thats where that was from. I dont know why they didnt add it to the Steam deluxe edition. I'm sure more people would have bought it then.
