Why do so many people like Rise?

I just don't understand it. She's way too aggro on trying to get a relationship with the MC and doesn't have really any major redeeming qualities (in my opinion). Looking for reasons why people like Rise over the other 23 romanceable social links.

I actually think Naoto is prettier with the golden ending. In my first run using a PSTV I picked her after seeing her in the golden ending outfit in the dancing game, then enjoying her story in the main game.

I honestly think a lot of people choose Rise BECAUSE she is aggro, and also the lovers arcana. A lot of people argue over canon, and specifically side with it. There is no canon in a Persona game, but people do it anyway. The game does lay the groundworks of relationships that might work out if the player character doesn't choose the involved girl, most notably with Kanji and spoiler tag girl, while Rise doesn't really get that treatment as well. She is my least favorite investigation girl, so luckily they still leave it open.

Obviously, the only girl who can maybe called more attractive than Chie is Yukiko. Nothing wrong with being worse than the best though

Objectively speaking, compared to the rest of the team, Rise harmonizes better with the "persona" concept of the jungian psychology which the game is mostly based of. Her story is pretty simple but still manages to make her character feel real since it depicts pretty accurate how rough idol life can be in japan.

She being the prettiest is debatable but that makes me think everyone just looking at one side of the picture.
