Aside from that, there's more things to do during the night. Its possible to work the garden for more points with the Dojima's, and going outside to work in the Pub (night version of the Item store) which gives 2x/3x stats. (1x Diligence, + 1x in another stat depending on which of the 4 customers is there. The second stats becomes 2x on a Rainy Night)
Aside from the pub there are also books that increase the stats gain from specific activities so its easier to rank up in stats, which in turn means youll spend less time on that and more on S-links.
So personally I would indeed say: easier then in the vanilla game.
Yes, do Jester S-link (Adachi) for bonus scenes I think.
Also, you can use the Scooter 3x short trips to unlock the other city, and 3x long trips to unlock the beach.
