puhgee do you have also solution how to use mouse inverter? i tick "invert y" and "invert y", but changes apply only to windows, in game it's still how it was - with mouse inverter should be ok i think, but i dunno how to make this changes work also ingame, not only in windows

Actually, there is...download this "SakasaMouse"
http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA026826/

Open it as Administrator just like DXWND, and enjoy.

This is a solution but a very complicated one. Its a absurd no one really fix this using an update or something.

Hi puhgee, you don't need to always start the game through DxWnd. There is a workaround, that worked fine for me, to start the game from Steam, just a usual, without disabling those original DLLs files.

It seems that the setup that we are adjusting in DxWnd it is not being passed to the game because the setup is saved in text code form in a file called "dxwnd.ini" that is in the same folder as the DxWnd. But there are two text files with the configurations of DxWnd, they are the "dxwnd.ini" and the "dxwnd.dxw". The first one is in the same folder as the DxWnd program and the second one is the folder of the game. Our setup is saved in dxwnd.ini, but it is not passed to dxwnd.dxw that the game needs.

So, the workaround is to copy part of our setup coded in dxwnd.ini to dxwnd.dxw. For me it was enough to copy everything from the line "module0 =" untill the end of the file, that is "swapeffect0=0", and replace it in the dxwnd.dxw file.

So being more clear, we can just copy those lines below and replace them in the file "dxwnd.dxw" that is in the same folder of the game.exe,

module0=
opengllib0=
notes0=
registry0=
ver0=0
coord0=1
flag0=1790066870
flagg0=1207959824
flagh0=20
flagi0=138412036
flagj0=4224
flagk0=32768
tflag0=0
initx0=50
inity0=50
minx0=0
miny0=0
maxx0=0
maxy0=0
posx0=50
posy0=50
sizx0=1024
sizy0=768
maxfps0=0
initts0=0
winver0=0
maxres0=-1
swapeffect0=0
