I beat 6 bosses got the klang 1 ending and got the 150 points the game told me that I needed to fight sonus I even got a small cutscene where a-eye told me to power the portal but I can't figure out how to actually start the final boss.

At least if Klang 3 is like this one, I want to say that I talked with someone that also played the game and we both agree that the 'A-Eye' enemy gimmick is, in our oppinion, horrible. That hate is exarcerbated given how the health system works in the game, failing notes in quick succesion straight kills you. So, if you want to still kill players before they finish a song, instead of killing them when a group of notes is failed, kill them when the maximum score percentage they could get...
